I am now getting control of my new TV.  I have three remote control devices.  It takes concentration and quiet for me to find the program I want.  Almost like meditation.  I keep the TV on mute until I have found what I want.  I miss the old one.

I bought a new TV today and have been setting it up.  it takes me awhile to adjust to the new screen.  I wish it was all easier.

Had a we sat outside watching the deer.  The sun moved slowly and the heat left.  When it was cold enough we moved inside leisurely family lunch outside int he pine trees.  Some began watching the football game and I went home for a nap. 

The house is now full of people and what, lots of talk, dishes, sibling disagreements even among the adults.  Went to Paris Bakery this morning to pick up treats for everyone.  Soon the kids will go off swimming and the adults will go out to lunch.

Another beautiful sunrise this morning, a hint of.   pink, light blue sky and birds chirping.  But no rain.  We are waiting for the rain.  At first we were patient but now we are desperate.  I have almost lost the ability to enjoy this beautiful weather.  Almost.

We are getting ready for our drive to Big Sur for Christmas lunch.  What was once just a plan has now become a tradition.  Yea.  No one has to cook at home and we may actually see some whales.

Waiting not quite so patiently for my Daughter to arrive.  I'm leaving the front door unlocked and the light on so she and her partner can find the room downstairs that we have set up for them.  Just the beginning.
