I have a cold.  My nose is dripping, my head is stuffy.  This is the first day.  Maybe tomorrow I will have more to say

I just finished Bob Dylan's book Chronicles and I am surprised that I liked it so much.  Now I want to relisten to all his music to see where it fits in with what I learned.

Scott knocked on my door and asked if I had any package that had been sent to him.  I didn't think so but I had him look at the three unopened boxes from amazon on my desk.  Yep one was his.  Without my glasses I can't read the label.  I knew the box was unusual.  I couldn't remember what I had ordered but still I hadn't opened it.  I heard him on the phone to customer service saying, yes the box had arrived.

My friends came for lunch today.  Every week we go to one of our houses and bring our own lunch.  We used to meet in restaurants but now it is quieter to meet in homes.  As we get older restaurants are too noisy.  we still haven't stopped finding things to talk about after many years of lunches.

A cold wind is blowing.  a flock of sea gulls just blew over my house.  I am restless on this Sunday afternoon.  Waiting for sun to go down so I can watch a movie on TV.  It just is not right to watch a movie while the sun is still up.

Went to Monterey beach to pick up some sea rocks in the sand.  I am looking for a special rock for an altar.  the rocks at this beach are light weight sandstone with  wonderful markings.  I picked up a bunch and am now letting them dry. I am all set to create a new altar.

Full moon out tonight.  I can see it from my kitchen window.  Makes me a bit sad.  Not sure why.  the moon and stars are so far away.  As a child I thought of them as friend and now I see that they are just there, not my friends at all.  Of course they aren't my enemy either.
