Another month of election news.  I am not sure I can stand it.

I hear rain is coming soon.  And tomorrow isplein air writing at Carmel Beach.  I think we will miss the rain.

I sent in my first assignment for the new class I am taking. As usual I am early.  I can't stand the anxiety of waiting for the deadline.

Saw the movie Elvis and Nixon tonight.  a dumb and somewhat funny movie. Glad that the TV is off and the room is now silent.

Today is the first day of a writing class I am taking.  I have the jitters.

I have been reading about Patty Hearst today in Jeffry Toobin's new book, American Heiress. The 1970's not so long ago in my mind.

It is dark outside, the wind is up.  My neighbor's security light shines right into my living room again.
