I am getting ready for tomorrow's plein air writing group at Point Pinos lighthouse in Pacific Grove.  It is going to be hot.

I had really planned to do more today.  I was almost over my cold.  But I didn't.  I hung around the house, napped and read.  Tomorrow I will do more.

Just saw on HBO a documentary film called Very Semi Serious, I think that was the name.  anyways, it was about the cartoonists and cartoons  in the New Yorker.  I loved it.

Warm weather continues.  I am reading THE SPEECHWRITER, a brief education in politics by Barton Swaim.  Perfect for this political season.

A friend said she was enjoying reading a series of Jane Austin  mystery stories by Stephanie Barron.  I couldn't imagine but then I picked one up at the library.  It took me awhile to get into them but now I am hook.  You go Jane.

I want to get a t-shirt that says I survived watching the Iowa caucuses.  Never again.

I am  halfheartedly watching the Iowa election tonight.  sort of boring and yet I don't turn it off.  and I am looking at facebook.
