I am back to writing again.  A friend and I met at the Crossroads and sat outside in the sun and wrote and talked for a couple of hours.  It is good to be back.

I am reading Gretel Ehrlich's book FACING THE WAVE, A JOURNEY IN THE WAKE OF THE TSUNAMI.  Brings back all my fears and concerns about the unrepresentableness  of life.  You just never know.

Warm evening.  Listening to sirens in the distance.  Has fire season started already.  Birds chirping.  I am getting ready to go out to a local church to talk about the homeless women's project again.

My neighbor from around the corner came by to talk about my homeless women's project.  the sun was streaming into the living room and the front door was open.  She was shocked, how come your house is warm.  Mine is cold and I have the heater on.  I am so grateful for the builder who situated the house to the sun and my house is usually warm by the sun.

the plum tree and the apricot tree are just beginning to produce blossoms.  the blossoms start low to the ground and then each day more appear higher up the tree. I love these trees.

I am reading a Daniel DeSilva thriller today.  I keep it hidden form my smarter friends.  I should be reading something better.  It is a compelling book, good for a rainy cold day.
