I've started reading My Antonia by Willa Cather.  I love it.  I am not sure I have read it before but tonight it is great.  makes me want to go see Nebraska.

Lots of ice on the windshield this morning.  had to run the car and heater for awhile before I could drive.  We had a morning sitting at St James.  16 people came.  The church was warm and stayed warm all morning.  In the afternoon I sat outside in the sun reading a book I had just picked up at the library.

Met Noreen for lunch today at Full Moon.  The staff all know what I want to eat since I order the same thing every time. If I want to eat something different I go to another restaurant.  I think I impressed Noreen.  My order is sweet and sour pork lunch special.  Now you know.

Another rainy cold day and yet flowers are blooming.  the tulip tree has more pink blossoms.  Went to the Sports center in the late morning.  Crowded with people.  I listened to graceland with Paul Simon on Pandora while I did my walking and biking.  This was the most fun part of my day.

Another storm is blowing outside.  My heater is blowing inside.  An easy balance.  I have been working on some fliers for the zen center and I forget how to do some of the effects and I am too lazy to go find the word for dummies guide.  Part of it is that I don't know the name for what I can't do so I don't know how to look it up.  Maybe I will try again tomorrow.

I got to sit by the beach this morning at the little park in Sand City.  There was a whale moving parallel to the shore, periodically blowing a stream of spray.  Really close to the beach.  I watched as he slowly moved past.  Lots of single older men walking at the park.  One woman.  A couple in the car next to me was eating their lunch.
