No living flies in my house now but there are a few dead flies n the corners. I smile every time I see them.  the screens are working

fog all day.  ummm.  I should be used to it but still it is a surprise.

I thought I lost my wallet this morning.  I walked around the house, checking the wastebasket,  Where did I leave it.  What do I have to do next. Feeling frenzied and vulnerable.  In my car I found it under my blue hat.  ummmm

Screens are mostly up, flies are mostly out, I am mostly happy.  but yet Trump is still president. sigh

Finally some sun this afternoon.  Couldn't sleep at nap time .  Too excited to see the sun.

more dark gloomy days.  Maybe we will see some sun on Monday.  sigh

more fog today.  Met a friend for coffee at the Paris Bakery at 8:30.  Already all the tables are occupied.  Holiday weekend is coming up.

I sat for most of the morning at Del Monte Beach, sat in my car and watched the grey waves, the lines of birds and the people going to the portapotte by my car. 

I like watching the city council meetings on TV but sometimes It is too much.

went to my favorite coffee house to write, Plumes, downtown Monterey.  Very few visitors.  yea.

summer fog and it is not even summer.  Only way to see the stars is to look on line.  sigh and Trump is still president.

I like to go out for lunch most days.  I am already thinking of where to go tomorrow for lunch even though I have food in the house.  I don't want to give up my lunch out.

The day disappeared.  I have to stop an think, now what did I do today, Oh yea I did go to two meetings.  OK I did enough.

The sun finally arrived in Monterey today after weeks of overcast and darkness.  Maybe it is not the end times yet.

Went for brunch  at the Mexican restaurant on Cannery Row.  I can never remember the name.  Right on the water, crowded with families.  Sunday buffet.  It is the best.

I am winning the war with the flies.  Only three in the living room as I lay down on the couch for a nap.  Finally.

I have piles of books everyplace.  they watch me and call out, read me now, pleeeese.

Windy and cold all day.  Spent the day indoors today,  Yuck, I need to be outside more.

The wind is gusting outside.  The weather is changing.  I still have 5 flies in the house.  I am waiting for them to die.  Just finished reading Peter May's newest mystery story from Scotland.  High mediocre.

We expected that Asilomar patio would be empty after all it was Tuesday morning but no, an array of surfboards and people clutter the area.  We had a quick change of plans and ended up in the warm social hall and spent hours writing and sharing oug writing.

Some screens ar up in my windows now.  I am trying to stop the migration of flies into my house.  But what to do about the ones who have already settled in? sigh

The new carpet in the extra room smells.  Off loading gas.  I wonder how long it will take to go away.

fog, dog barking, ringing in my ears, breath.  Yep I am still alive.

lots of wind the last couple of days and I am tired.  Spring, sirens outside, sun is down.

I am tired of reading.  need to find something else to do.
