Watched the PBS Frontline report on refugees in Europe. It is such an impossible situation I am stunned about what to do to help. I guess I have to continue focusing on our homeless in our community.  So much suffering

I pulled out my basket of quilting and placed it by the chair near the TV. I tried a couple of times to work on the piece but it hurt my shoulder so I will have to wait a bit longer.

Went to my weekly physical therapy session today and now I am sore.  Hard to tell if it is helping me with shoulder pain and I know it is a slow process to heal.  I am committed until June.

Lots of birds in the yard.  Acacia trees are blooming yellow.  Flame trees are blooming bright red and tuli trees are pink.  You would think it was spring rather then January.

I have finished eating all my Christmas Candy, boxes and boxes of gifts.  It wasn't just me, my friends came over and helped.  We didn't want the candy to get stale and we succeeded.

I was all set to do it, to start a new writing project.  Ideas were flooding my mind.  I met with a friend to write but instead we whittled away the time talking and Now I have lost my energy.
