Stars tonight, there is going to be stars tonight.  The fog is gone for awhile.  Only two meetings today, life is getting easier and Trump may not be president for long now that we have a special prosecutor.  Such good news for the county.

First I got a letter asking if I would like to sell my house.  Then I received a postcard saying they wanted to buy my car, my wonderful Honda Element and now today I got a letter asking if I would like to plan my funeral.

At my age I have to go to DMV and prove that I can drive.  I spent time reading the handbook for drivers and now my mind is filled with information at least until the appointment tomorrow..

Sundays go slow and then they pick up speed and race to midnight.  Sundays are hard to manage.
My job as an older woman is to wait, wait until they arrive, wait for them to finish getting ready, talking on their cell phones, checking out their  IPhone.  I have not learned it very well yet.

Went to a meeting with the Monterey police to learn about the problems with drug use in the homeless population.  They said the addicts didn't want help to quit and then in the questioning it became clear there were no real recovery programs for poor addicts so why were the police offering.

Today, I went into the women's restroom at the cross roads.  And there were tow loose black large dogs blocking the way.  I backed out slowly, I am afraid of dogs.  The woman who had the dogs apologized that she was made me feel uncomfortable but she was trying to protect her dogs.

Spent several hours at Highlands Inn in Carmel.  We sat in the lounge overlooking Point Lobos.  Even in the fog and rain it as beautiful.  We talked,we laughed and we kept looking out the window.

I DID MY TAXES TWICE, twice.  I made a major error the first time.  I was going to let it go but couldn't so I redid them this morning.  Tomorrow they go in the mail.  Yes I did them on paper and I will be mailing them.

I had dreaded opening my PG&E bill.  It sat on the table looking at me.  the last two bills were extremely high.  I was going to be killed by inflation and cold weather.

When I opened it, no charge for this month, I had been overcharged. I don't understand the explanation but I accept it.
