At the gas station this morning a man was walking around asking us if we could give him a couple of gallons of gas. He was carrying a gas can. I shook my head no but another woman said yes. What was the right answer?
On TV I watch the snow pile up on the streets and cars on the East coast. I guess I don' have anything to complain about. We have a little rain. There is a big puddle in my parking area. And I sat out in the sun this afternoon.
We planned to sit outside at the cafe at the Crossroads but it was cold and the seats were wet so we went inside to the restaurant across the street and ordered coffee and talked for several hours. I hope we were not a problem.
Without any evidence at all I have become convinced that my mother's family immigrated from the same part of Northern Italy as Pope Francis's family. So we must be cousins. I now think of him as cousin Frank.
