I heard gunshots outside last night.  I started to worry about my crazy neighbor.  What is he up to?  I checked with my roommate Scoot, He too was worried.  When I turned on my computer I realized it was just Giant fans celebrating a victory.

Going to a Peter Coyote workshop this morning at the Zen Center.  It is popular and has been sold out for weeks.  But I made a reservation early. And I am ambivalent.  The rain has started this morning.  Do I really want to get dressed and leave the house?

I am stranded at home without my car.  The mechanics are working with it and are finding more and more stuff that needs to be fixed.  The car is 6 years old so I should not be surprised.

I have been reading Rebecca Solnit's early books and loving them  The one I am on is WANDERLUST,  A History of walking.

UMMM good.

I saw the documentary film THE LAST DAYS OF VIETNAM yesterday.  It brought back many memories of my generation's war and I learned some new stuff.  I do recommend it.
